About The Teachers' Lounge:
Our journey started five years ago at a game night in Boston with educators of color and friends. While sharing food and drinks, energy and conversation, we recognized just how small and scattered Boston’s community of educators of color is, and subsequently, the strong need for more social and professional networking opportunities.
Responding to this need, The Teachers' Lounge took course. TTL organizes a variety of engagement opportunities for educators of color who share a set of common goals and values. We provide a space for our community to connect, collaborate, and create, with the intention of fostering relationships and future partnerships, opportunities, and resources for educators of color.
